| | "WE ARE MORE ALIKE, MY FRIENDS, THAN WE ARE UNALIKE"
The quote, of course, is from Maya Angelou's poem "Human Family". It has been recently used in an Apple television commercial. But the fact is even half a world away some things never change. We all will grow old, if we are fortunate, and tend to view life in different terms than when we were young. Above is a photo that we call "San Antonio, c.1936". This Texan is just resting from hard times during the Great Depression. While in China this older gentleman is glad just to survive not only hard times but the Japanese occupation. We call this photo simply "China (1937)". Results of November 22 voting: 50% for the B & W version and 50% for the sepia version. We have a tie.
