THE WORKING MAN

We pay tribute to the working man. These are men who come home dirty from a hard day's work. Above is a photo taken in Snyder, Oklahoma c.1900 that we call "The Blacksmith Shop". Times were about to change for these workers with the advent of the automobile. Below is a scene we call "Louisiana Repair Shop"; Greenwood, Louisiana c.1936. These folks are not Cajuns. Greenwood is located just west of Shreveport near the Texas border. Note the Shreveport telephone number on the truck.
