THE GREATEST GENERATION

Our first class photo presentation. This one is special and shown in its original sepia tone.  What twists and turns did life have in store for these children?  The same could be said for all class photos and yearbooks except that you are looking at the Greatest Generation who survived the Great Depression and World War II.  See our blog for more comments. "Class Photo", Hudson, Michigan c.1929.
A field for heroes. Unfortunately, there are many more scattered around the world for the Greatest Generation.  Our Military collection includes some known, such as Colleville in Normandy, and some unknown only to God.  Seen above is the U. S. Military Cemetery on Oahu, Hawaii.  The "Punchbowl" (April 13, 1947).
