1939! When stop signs were yellow. Winter in the Chicago District we call "Chicago Snowfall" (February 1939). Perhaps a good day if you're a young child. Several months later the World's Fair opens in Flushing Meadow Park in Queens, New York. "1939 World's Fair", the future of things to come. Perhaps not exactly as foreseen with the coming of war.
