| | PHOTOS THAT LOOK LIKE PAINTINGS
Perhaps the best example of a photo that looks like a painting is Joe Rosenthal's "Raising the Flag on Iwo Jima". While not as dramatic, the images presented here are two of DPI's recent additions which we would argue are photos that look like paintings. Above is "Corpus Christi - 1937". The Eli Knudsen enters the harbor at the approach of New Year's Eve. Below we present "Sheepherders"; U. S. (May 1944). A veteran stands ready with his rifle protecting the herd against wolves, coyotes and other predators.
