PayPal IS NOW AVAILABLE ON OUR NEWSLETTERS
It has always been possible for viewers to right click on any of
our images in order to download a comp. Our images at DPI, Facebook and
Twitter are all watermarked, but those on our newsletter are in the
clear. Payment for licensing rights has been possible through PayPal
for some time. You need to make payment to info@dispatchpressimages.com
if you wish to use PayPal. Image prices purchased through the DPI
shopping cart are calculated based on usage.
It is now possible for users to purchase any of our newsletter images
by using the PayPal Buy Now link on the newsletter. These images are
small and in the range of 600 x 450 pixels at about 60 to 90 kb. All of
them have the same selling price of $100.00 USD. They carry the same
license as explained on DPI’s homepage which is for 60 days, one time,
world-wide rights. You may use any of the newsletter images including
those from the archives. We ask that you inform us of where and when you intend

The above image of this sign over the main street of Greenville, Texas is well known. We present it here for comparison purposes without comment except to say we think that the sign speaks for itself. Below is a DPI image called "Bristol, Virginia" (1934). We suspected that there was a little more than meets the eye in viewing this sign over State Street which reads "A Good Place To Live". Bristol sits exactly on the Virginia-Tennessee border in the heart of Appalachia. As evidenced in many similar communities, at one time in the past Bristol had its own slave auction house. I have personally stood in the Market House in Fayetteville, North Carolina which was also once used for similar purposes.
