Attempting to imitate the style of the great Brazilian photojournalist Sebastião Salgado is like trying to climb Mt. Everest in your bare feet. It is impossible. There is only one Picasso and only one Salgado. The above photo "Port of New Orleans" (1946) is our feeble attempt to honor Salgado. It is difficult to choose one particular image to represent Salgado's work because so many of them are iconic. His style is unlike any other photojournalist and is easily recognizable.
