| | HOMAGE TO KEVIN CARTER
The photo above, "Vulture and the Girl", is the Pulitizer Prize winning image taken by Kevin Carter at a feeding station in Sudan in March 1993. His work has influenced us deeply as we do our best to emulate his vision. The relatively benign scene of these three children sitting at a lakeside below, "Geese and the Children" c.1930, is not without some uneasiness among the children upon careful inspection. Fearing an aggressive move against them from the goose at the extreme right is not unfounded. Who is to say what goes through the mind of a goose if it feels threatened? Read about Kevin Carter.
