Above is a rare historical photo that we call "White Man's Burden" so named as an homage to Rudyard Kipling's poem. The photo was taken in Lubo, Belgian Congo (November 14, 1924). Below is the last known photo of Albert Schweitzer, "Schweitzer at Lambarene"; taken at his hospital in Gabon (June 3, 1965). This photo was taken by Karl Breyer while working in South Africa.
