FREEDOM OF THE PRESS

Social upheaval historically results in changes to the legal system and the writing of a new constitution in some cases. Those who recognize evil when they see it are journalists and teachers which leads to their elimination or marginalization at best in the new order. As a journalist and a teacher I am most sensitive to any attack on the freedom of the press as well as other freedoms enumerated in the First Amendment.  Above is "Extra, Extra - Read All About It"; York, Pennsylvania (November 6, 1966).  A newspaper boy and girl across the street and a girl across the street selling the Sunday News. Below, on Michigan Avenue in Chicago, Illinois (May 21, 1938), a "Newspaper Boy" sells his newspapers. Licensing is based on usage. Please use DPI's "add to cart" to calculate your final cost.
