Not only were there devastating floods during the 1930s, but with the floods came a plague of serious diseases particularly in Tennessee. Above we present "Flood - Ohio River in Illinois"; (Jan. 26, 1937). Way beyond flood stage as a railroad bridge is nearly swamped.
