DIVIRGING LIFESTYLES

In this most difficult election season the decision seems to come down to a choice between the devil we know and the devil that we don't know as both major party candidates have very high negatives. I would argue that the photos presented here display highly divergent lifestyles for an earlier period. What is the correct choice? Or does a choice have to be made at all? It would seem that such a debate will have no conclusive answer. Above is a photo that we call "The Great Beyond" taken on the Nevada desert c.1927. Two adventurers stand by their cars. Below is "Whites Only Water Fountain"; U. S. c.1921. The "Whites Only" sign is barely visible. What is visible is the Confederate flag tattoo on the rear of the lady's right hand.
