CREATIVE COLLECTION

Pareidolia.  It is the way in which the brain tries to organize a meaningless stimulus into something that is recognizable.  The Face on Mars, the Man in the Moon, Jesus Christ in a cinnamon bun and so forth.  For years I saw faces in the wallpaper in my bathroom.  So it is with this "Mitten" in Monument Valley.  I must have viewed this image a hundred times and I still see a family of women and children in the rock face.  Keep looking at it.  "Sacred Monoliths" was taken in Monument Valley, Utah July 10, 1981.
No pareidolia evident here unless I am missing something.  Just another reason to travel within the United States as there are so many wonders to see.  "Goose Neck Point" was taken in Mexican Hat, Utah on August 1, 1960.
