Farming methods used a hundred years ago were similar to those from antiquity. We present these photos to pay homage to the backbreaking work that farmers had to endure, and to enlighten younger generations of the sacrifices made to create our modern society. Above is "Oxen Team"; Ohio c.1900. A proud farmer show off his beasts of burden. Below is "Plow Horses" c. 1910, a true day's work for these farmers lies ahead.
