Subject: You WILL Rise & Fall on Leadership!
Hello to everyone within the Million Dollar Transportation
Community! As always, I hope that this message finds
you all doing well and that business is booming!
First, I want to thank all of you whom have taken the time
to send me your recent well wishes. Suffering a very
tragic death in our family has been very difficult to say
the least.
But honestly, I cannot tell you how appreciative and
touching it is to receive such kind words, prayers, and
encouragement from so many of you. I just can’t thank
you enough!
I have started getting back to work this week and have a
TON of things to do. But in reading some emails, I feel
really compelled to share with you a message on
leadership.
Many of you are well established with your business.
Others, you’re just starting by yourself or with your
spouse or a partner.
But regardless of size, I encourage you to build and
operate your business with a strong foundation of
leadership.
In my opinion, EVERYTHING rises and falls on
leadership. If you’re a good leader, you can achieve
infinite success and opportunity. But if you fail as a
leader, your results will be reflective.
Let me quickly plant three important seeds in your
mind that I hope you can use as “food for thought.”
1. YOU, the owner and entrepreneur, are THE leader of
your business. YOU are responsible for establishing the
vision, the mission, and the tone for which your business
will grow, operate, and flourish. No one else is
responsible for this but YOU!
2. As you build, focus on building a “Concrete Core,”
the nucleus that will serve as the engine for driving your
business.
Don’t make the mistake of focusing on the “crowd,”
following the advice of naysayers, friends, family, and
the like so as not to offend them. Rather, always focus
on doing what is necessary to build and expand
your “Core.”
Your Core will sustain you in good times and in bad!
3. YOU can be a leader and remain a leader as long as
you continue to personally GROW! There is no beginning
or an end to leadership. You must always work on
personal growth and expanding your leadership abilities.
Further, someone once told me that “Leadership is not
charisma. It is your character.”
I honestly don’t recall where I heard this, but I can assure
you it’s true. You can be the most outgoing and well
intentioned person, but if you lack character, integrity, and
honestly the people for whom you lead will not support you
long-term.
I’m trying to keep this email short as I have a million and
one things to do and I know I have the ability to ramble!
But it’s my hope that you will take these quick seeds, plant
them in your mind, let them settle, and “prepare for rain” to
bring you growth and prosperity.
Sow the seeds of success everyday as someday they will
most definitely bear fruit!
See you at the Top!
