Well, that didn't last long! Yesterday I sent notice that we, "Team DDC" are resuming our one-on-one work with a select number of newbies for the first time since November of 2023. Because of our existing workload, we wanted to play it safe and limit onboarding to only two new client-providers. One motivated entrepreneur signed up last night and another today.
Because one of the two client-providers who just signed up doesn't plan on starting until November, we will extend this opportunity for one additional client-provider who is planning to start their one-on-one sooner rather than later.
Also, good number of you sent some great questions that I would like to answer below in the event you are thinking of enlisting now or in the future:
Q: Is one-on-one training with Team DDC only for NEMT?
A: Yes. Some have asked about home care training and YouAreTheBroker.com training, but no, Dan, Charlie, and I will only be advising you in NEMT.
We might be able to answer some general home care or broker related questions, but if you are looking for in-depth personal assistance and advisement with home care and in launching your broker business, you will definitely want to work with our Home Care Access team (https://www.homecareaccess.com).
For help with launching your broker business, Joel, Emilia and some of his regional directors would need to help you with that business.
Q: Will you be able to help me find the right vehicle?
A: Yes, absolutely. We are routinely looking for quality vehicles for our client-providers. We will also advise you on wheelchairs and work to find good deals on stretchers.
Q: Will Joel be able to help me with a service agreement or review/edit my contract if I sign up for one-on-one with Team DDC?
A: If the contract you are referring to is a Medicaid broker "Transportation Agreement," we can definitely review and offer insight and feedback, but if the contract you are referring to is a direct agreement with a hospital or nursing facility and possibly requires negotiations or revisions, then you will definitely want to make your reservation to work directly with Joel. Legitimate contracts and agreement directly between you and hospitals or traditional nursing facilities is definitely Joel's area of expertise.
Q: I plan to start by business around the first of the year. I think would time up perfect with completion of my market analysis. Can I sign up today but wait to start with you in December?
A: Great question, and kudos to you on the strategic planning. Yes, we can time that up perfectly. We will get started on your custom market analysis project soon, and depending on our findings and the level of callbacks, we should have that project done prior to your launch date. That will definitely help you developing a targeted plan for soliciting facilities.
Q: I worked with you last year and need additional help in building out our growing dispatch and logistics. Can I sign up to work with you again?
A: Yes, absolutely! That is great news, and congratulations on your growing success. We look forward to working with you again and will do our best to be of assistance.
Q: If I sign up for one-on-one with Team DDC, does that include copies of Joel's videos and his business plan?
A: Another great question, and my apologies for not thinking to consider that in my initial message from yesterday. Yes, absolutely, we will be sending you a USB zip drive that will have copies of Joel's videos and a copy of the MDT Business Plan. You will be able to plug the zip drive into your laptop or desktop computer to watch as well as read or print the MDT Business Plan.
Q: If I sign up for Team DDC, will that give me get access to Joel's wheelchair and stretcher videos?
A: Those training videos are actually on our UMTPG teachable account. When you become an active UMTPG member (https://www.umtpg.org/join) you will be provided with a username and password to sign into our Teachable account where you will find the wheelchair and stretcher training videos you are referencing and many others.
