Also, a couple other important topics.
1. Many have asked about our ability to get a custom market analysis done for the first of the year if they order now. That really is not possible. We are in mid October with the first of the year quickly approaching. We are easily running closer to 20 weeks for development simply because of existing projects (some taking much longer than others), and the many callbacks required for each project.
Sadly, there are no shortcuts. We work to "grind out" each project to the best of our ability to ensure each target has the best possible information, and it can be difficult. You would be amazed how many people at particular facilities either won't disclose information or they honestly don't even know some of the basics. The result is it taking longer to contact more people at different times in hopes of getting targeted info.
2. If you are thinking of buying or selling your business, please understand you have to be willing to disclose details of your business. If you are hesitant to share with us, then why you are asking for Joel's help? It makes no sense. You have be willing to disclose basic information so Joel can determine if you are a good fit, and if yes, he will need to conduct an executive valuation. Joel is never going to assist you based on what you tell him or someone else like an accountant. Joel needs to "lift up the hood" and evaluate everything for himself. Further, you are going to have to disclose everything with the buyer/seller during demand and discoveries.
