I liked this story because it was a different take on the paranormal idea. It took a few chapters, but as the story fleshed out, I found myself not wanting to put it down. Usually, shifters and magic don't mix but in this story it worked really well. The characters are older too, so it was delightful to be able to identify with them. Just goes to show that age is just a number and even older couples can have a life together.
