I did promise to get a second newsletter for September out to you.
We have just completed our celebration of the fall festivals.
Well, at least some of us have.
I am aware of some celebrating the Sukkot in October. Anyway, all the festivals of Yah really point to one thing: the elimination of the second death. What is the second death?
"Then Death and Sh'ol were hurled into the lake of fire. This is the second death — the lake of fire. Anyone whose name was not found written in the Book of Life was hurled into the lake of fire. (Revelation 20:14-15 CJB)
Death began in Gan Eden (The Garden of Eden) and will end by being tossed in the lake of fire. The ultimate reason why the Messiah had to sacrifice His life was to eliminate the curse of the death:
"For as in Adam all die, even so in Christ shall all be made alive. But every man in his own order: Christ the firstfruits; afterward they that are Christ's at his coming. Then cometh the end, when he shall have delivered up the kingdom to God, even the Father; when he shall have put down all rule and all authority and power. For he must reign, till he hath put all enemies under his feet. The last enemy that shall be destroyed is death. For he hath put all things under his feet. But when he saith all things are put under him, it is manifest that he is excepted, which did put all things under him. And when all things shall be subdued unto him, then shall the Son also himself be subject unto him that put all things under him, that God may be all in all." (1 Corinthians 15:24-28 KJV)
The 8th day after the 7th day of Sukkot is called Shemini Atzeret (The Eighth day of the Assembly). The 8th day of the assembly is a commanded meeting-a holy convocation (Leviticus 23:36). The number 8 pictures a new beginning. Shemini Atzeret pictures the New Heavens and New Earth found in Revelation 21 and 22. The entire universe will be PERFECT. There will no longer be any more pain, death, sorrow or curse. Everything will be made NEW (Revelation 21:1-4, 22:3).
All evil and wickedness will be removed from the earth:
"May sinners vanish from the earth and the wicked be no more! Bless Adonai, my soul! Halleluyah!" (Psalm 104:35 CJB)
"Thine hand shall find out all thine enemies: thy right hand shall find out those that hate thee. Thou shalt make them as a fiery oven in the time of thine anger: the LORD shall swallow them up in his wrath, and the fire shall devour them. Their fruit shalt thou destroy from the earth, and their seed from among the children of men. (Psalm 21:8-10 KJV)
"But the wicked shall be cut off from the earth, and the transgressors shall be rooted out of it." (Proverbs 2:22 KJV)
- No more death.
- No more curses.
- No more sin.
- No more suffering.
- No more pain.
This is the WONDERFUL future of mankind
