Dear Friend,
I have been ministering to people since March of 2004. My experiences involve helping two Hebrew Roots congregations, teaching publicly to different congregations in the Columbus, Ohio area and in other states and helping two Hebrew Roots youth camps. One of the camps I helped establish as a marketing director.
Additionally, I have spoken to top leaders in the Hebrews Roots movement, the Messianic Judaism movement and the Worldwide Church of God splinter churches.
For those who don't know, I was introduced to basic Hebrew Roots back in 1985 by the Worldwide Church of God (WCG). The WCG leadership taught me the importance of keeping the Shabbat, the Holy Days and the Unclean and Clean meat instructions.
I have produced over 300+ podcasts based on the Bible and in the process of producing many teaching videos via Messianic Lamb Network, Facebook and my YouTube channel.
- Why am I telling you about this? I am revealing this to you because I desire for you to understand my Torah observant background and to explain that despite the errors of HWA, he did preach many truths that are based on the Bible. Please look at this video for proof: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=arF-6OfVlp0
- Some of these truths the Hebrew Roots and Messianic Jews do not understand or teach.
Please don't throw the baby (true doctrines) out with the bath water (false doctrines) in reference to HWA and the old WCG. - In March of 2004, Yah revealed to me the deeper parts of Hebrew Roots which is understanding the social environment of Yeshua when He was living on the earth which was Jewish.
In the Hebrew Roots movement, there is a great desire to understand the Jewish roots of our Savior and a passion to keep ALL the instructions of the Torah.
However, I have learned the following about the Hebrew Roots movement. - Too much emphasis on whether the earth is flat or not (Titus 3:9)
- Too much emphasis on Hebrew. You don't need to know Hebrew to effectively understand the Bible. I successfully debated a Conservative Jewish Rabbi about Yeshua being the Messiah and I did not know any Hebrew at the time. Currently, I am studying Hebrew because I desire to speak Hebrew to my Jewish brothers and read the Bible in the original Hebrew. However, I know how to look up the original meaning of Biblical words by using lexicons and other tools. It is more important to understand how the Jews lived during Biblical times than to learn how to read and speak Hebrew.
- Doubting the canonicity of the Bible (how we got the Bible). Some believe we don't have all the books of the Bible and we can't trust the KJV or other word from word translations.
- Calendar confusion. Confusion comes from ha satan (the devil) not Yah (1 Cor. 14:33; James 3:16). The TRUTH about the calendar is that there are no detailed instructions on how to observe it in the Bible. So, it is wise to follow the Jewish calendar for the sake of unity. The Jews were given Yah's oracles which involve the calendar (Romans 3:1-3; John 4:22; Matthew 23:1-3). Based on Jewish history and Bible history, it is the Sanhedrin's responsibility not ours to change the calendar. The rules of the calendar the Jews always used was revealed by Hillel in the 4th century and it has worked well to keep the Jewish people and God's people together for over 1,000 years. MSOG has decided to go by the Jewish Calendar. Several groups in the Hebrew Roots movement creating their own calendar has not contributed toward unity of the assemblies (churches).
- Lack of understanding about what the gift of speaking different languages is. It is not speaking gibberish or unknown words. When the Holy Spirit inspires you to speak, it is with words not gibberish (2 Samuel 23:2; Matthew 10:19-20; Luke 21:15; 2 Peter 1:2; Daniel 5 and Acts 2). When the Master taught us to pray, it was with known words (Luke 11:1-4; Matthew 6:5-15). Whenever I have tried to show people what the gift of speaking different languages really is according to the Bible, most get offended and feel threatened. They appear to be seared with a hot iron with the false doctrine of speaking gibberish (1 Timothy 4:1-2; Isaiah 8:19). My wife and I have experienced visiting assemblies that appear to have the gift of speaking different languages. Not one of them spoke different languages based on what the Bible reveals (Acts 2). We have seen people lose control of their bodies and tongues. This is not Yah's spirit working because Yah's spirit is a spirit of a sound mind and control (2 Timothy 1:7; Isaiah 11:2).
- Some focus too much on emotions and feelings thinking this is really how the Holy Spirit works. I have been accused of being too intellectual when I teach and not spiritual enough. Well, if being intellectual is quoting several scriptures, then I'm only doing what the Master commands a teacher to do. Use HIS words NOT my own (Jeremiah 23:28-29). As far as being spiritual, Yah reveals in His word His words are spiritual (John 6:63; Romans 7:14). So, if a teacher uses more of Yah's words instead of his own-isn't he being spiritual?
- Several desire to be teachers and lead congregations without understanding whether they have the gift of teaching or not and the knowledge to effectively lead (James 3:1; Titus 1:10-14; 1 Cor. 12:29).
- Several do not desire to be taught by those who actually do have the gift of teaching. I hear "we don't need any teachers." (Isaiah 30:8-11; 2 Timothy 4:1-5).
- Lack of understanding basic principles of the Bible (Hosea 4:6). Of course, the "we don't need any teachers" attitude certainly contributes to this.
- Teachers are not properly supported (1 Timothy 5:17-18).
- Women desire to disciple and lead men as prophesied (Isaiah 3:12). Women can and should teach (those who have the gift) but the Bible reveals the teaching should be focused on teaching women not men (Exodus 15:20; Deuteronomy 1:9-18; Titus 2:3-4; 1 Timothy 2:11-15). I notice that some teach the false doctrine that Paul had a "thorn in the flesh" and you can ignore Titus 2:3-4 and 1 Timothy 2:11-15 because of his "thorn in the flesh." Well, the inspired scriptures that Paul wrote (remember Yeshua said He chose Paul as His vessel/instrument - Acts 9:15; Paul believed the words he wrote was inspired - Galatians 1:11-12; 1 Cor. 14:36-38; 1 Thessalonians 2:13; 4:1-2; Colossians 1:24-27; Ephesians 3:2-6; 1 Cor. 4:17) is supported by Deuteronomy 1:9-18 and the first four chapters of Numbers.
- Yah organizes a righteous society with men being the leaders as proved by men not women being mentioned in the count of the number of the congregation of Israel (Numbers 1, 2, 3 and 4). To clarify, men and women lead. However, how they lead is different and the Bible reveals this to any who desire to know the truth about male and women leadership. I have been severely persecuted for preaching the truth about this.
- Failure to understand the importance of the 12 Tribes of Israel. The 12 Tribes of Israel are so important to Yah that they are listed in the 1st and last book of the Bible (Genesis and Revelation). Eddie Chumney (one of the well known Torah teachers in the Hebrew Roots movement) interviewed Yair Davidiy about the 12 Tribes of Israel.
- Here is the video about the 12 Tribes of Israel with Eddie Chumney and Yair Davidiy: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=vNlM0TxCtlo&feature=share&fbclid=IwAR0UngFonavXBpKk3-X051sgR0MwFvY-nV6_OoxHlH_yr89sEdAmAzivQdw
- Before Eddie Chumney interviewed Yair Davidiy, the Worldwide Church of God during the days of HWA already understood this and taught this truth for years (1930s, 1940s, 1950s, 1960s, 1970s, 1980s). I and others from the WCG understood the truth about the 12 Tribes of Israel before the interview.
- It important to understand the 12 tribes because it helps you understand the prophecies of the Bible. So, it is of great benefit to learn who they are in these end times.
I can list more, but these are the ones that immediately come to mind and contribute toward the division of the Hebrew Roots movement and there are some you may not be able to bear (John 16:12).
We are not a Hebrew Roots ministry and/or congregation. - We are a ministry and congregation that follows the "way" of the 1st century (Acts 24:14-15). We try to fellowship with Messianic Jews, Hebrew Roots believers and WCG believers and work with them the best way we can and when we can.

Things in the world are not getting better. We have to prepare for the worst.
Yah has been helping me understand He will provide protection (Psalm 91; Revelation 12:13-17; Luke 21:34-36) for us as we head toward great trouble in the future. He promised not to have us go through anything we can't handle (1 Cor. 10:13). We may have more than one place for protection before we all end up in the land of Israel and Jerusalem in the future. I will provide more information about this in the future.
If you desire to be taught by our ministry, then you can "friend request" me by searching for "Kennard Levi Brown" and creating a friend request. You can also view my videos on Messianic Lamb Network (located at the bottom of this e-mail). If you would like for me to visit your home or congregation to teach, then please let me know. - Some of you may have been on my Meetup group and I removed you because you did not respond to my messages or showed a lack of interest in attending our teachings and fellowship. You can still access my teachings by becoming my Facebook friend.
- The Meetup group is for those who desire to be taught by me and respect me as a Torah teacher and do the best they can to support me as the Bible commands.
The goal of this ministry is to preach the TRUE Jewish Gospel to as many people as possible and to make disciples/taught ones/students (Matthew 24:14; 28:20).
I will do the best I can to contribute toward unity of the Torah believing assemblies. However, others need to "step up" and help. The wife will make herself ready (Revelation 19:7). And, through the Holy Spirit, it is possible to come to an agreement with the basic doctrines of the Bible (1 Cor. 1:10).
