Subject: What do you say when...

"Immediately the father of the child cried out and said with tears, “Lord, I believe; help my unbelief!” (Mark 9:24 NKJV)

One thing I've realized about doing these devotionals is it can appear as if I have it all together.

As if I am some form of teacher or expert on being a Christian. That couldn't be further from the truth.

The reality is that I struggle just like you. I have doubts and sin daily just like you.

In fact, I've realized in my life I've exercised more fear in facts than faith in God. No matter how good God is to me I seem to always find a way to fear the unknown or doubt his promise on my life.

Does that happen to you? I'm seriously interested in knowing that I'm not the only one experiencing this.

What do you say in those times? When you can't see God.

What do you say to yourself when you want to believe but you are spiritually exhausted from enduring and doubt just seems so much easier?

I KNOW I'm not the only one who has dealt with these thoughts and trials.

I'm just willing to put myself out there for the sake of helping someone else get free. How about you, will you do the same?

This is a safe place to express yourself. I've found as men sometimes we just need to be able to speak the truth to someone without judgement, or repercussion.

Hit reply and lets talk.

Lets pray...

"Father, give me the strength to be open and honest with the few men in my life that I can trust. I am tired of holding it in and trying to handle it on my own. Help me find the strength in you to open my mouth and receive the encouragement I need. In Jesus name I pray, Amen"
