Job 13:15 - Ultimate Trust

“Though He slay me, yet will I trust Him. Even so, I will defend my own ways before Him.” (Job 13:15 NKJV)

by Chris

Sometimes it may feel like God is against you.

Like no matter what you do things just don’t seem to go your way. The answers to your prayers seem to be far from ‘Yes’ and ‘Amen’.

These are some of the lowest and darkest hours as a Christian. However, these are the times where our faith is truly tested.

Do you believe God when it’s good and doubt when it’s bad? Does your view of God change depending on your situation?

I sure hope not.

God is faithful. No matter what your view of Him may be at the time - He remains consistent.

Always abounding in grace and mercy and showering you with His love. There’s nothing you can do about it but accept it.

Friend, you will not always understand the “why’s” of God. And it doesn’t matter.

The only thing that matters is knowing that whatever the situation may be, it results in victory on your behalf.

But you must trust.

Lean not to your own understanding and trust that God is always on your side. Always aware of exactly what you’re going through. And always aware of exactly what you need.

All you have to do is trust Him.

Lets pray...

“Father, I get discouraged at times and doubt your ways, but I WILL trust in you. At my lowest points I chose to trust the hand of God on my life. Knowing that in due time - the victory is mine. Thank you Jesus!”
