Psalms 119:18 - True Vision
“Open my eyes that I may see wonderful things in your law.” (Psalms 119:18 NIV)
by Chris
God’s word is not restrictive, it’s freedom.
In order to experience this freedom it takes discipline. To constantly deny your flesh and spend time in His word daily, it takes a lot of intentionality.
When you do, however, you start to see things through the eyes that God intended. You start to see endless possibilities open up. Realizing that all you ever want, need, and can ask for is in Christ.
And guess what?…He wants to give it to you.
He WILL give it to you.
There are so many promises God has made us in the bible and they are all true. If you just believe God, live a life of obedience and order, and set your heart on Him; you will be amazed at what blessings He will unleash to you.
But it takes time in His word for God to be able to open your eyes to these blessings.
The closer you get to Him, the more of his word will be revealed to you. He will give you new eyes to view his word through.
The same scriptures you skimmed over before will have new meaning. New revelation.
Then you will see the true potential of a life in Christ. A life that is filled with abundance and not lack. Joy instead of depression. Fulfillment regardless of your situation instead of emptiness.
You will see God died for the world so He could give you all you desire in the world.
If you just seek Him first.
Lets pray…
“Father open my eyes to the beauty of your word. Let your word shape how I view the world and not the other way around. The closer I get to you the better my vision gets Father. It is you that helps me see past my circumstances into the victorious future. Thank you for true vision through your word. Amen” |
