There is no lack in God.
He is the God of overflow and abundance.
One thing about God is he never answers as small prayer in a small way. Every answered prayer from God is big and always more than you ever anticipated.
God will never answer your prayer at the level of faith you released it at. He will always go bigger, it will always be better, and will always amaze you.
You pray for a wife - he gives you a business partner, best friend, and wonderful mother.
You pray for a job – he gives you a career that results in you owning a Fortune 500 company.
You pray for wisdom – he allows you to learn some of life’s toughest trials. Then gives you an audience to share it with which results in thousands of lives saved.
The question is…are you growing your faith to be able to receive at the level God will answer?
Don’t let what you’ve done serve as a ceiling to what you will do. God is always doing something new.
Don’t let desperation and fear create a sense of urgency to accept the first "good thing" that comes your way. God is the creator of all great things.
Don’t let pain and disappointment blind you from seeing how much God truly has in store for you. God has reserved it and is holding it specifically for you.
Whatever the case may be, just don’t put any limits on God. Give him permission to blow your mind with his abundant blessings.
Let’s pray…
“Father all my needs are met in you. I claim I will no longer act out of lack, doubt, or desperation. In doing so I am contradicting the very faith you have granted to me. Instead I expect abundance. I will have to pick between great opportunities and not settle for the first thing that comes my way. My new normal is far greater than my current. What I have done can’t compare at the slightest to what I will do. I pray and believe these things with all my heart, in Jesus name. Amen.”
