| Doesn't matter what the size of your obstacle...God is bigger.
In the midst of your storm it's easy to forget the fundamental truth that there is nothing too hard for God to solve.
Let's make a quick list of some God's humble accomplishments:
- Created the entire earth
- Brought dead people to life
- Gave vision to the blind
- Birthed his son by a virgin
- Made 3 faithful Hebrew boys fireproof
- Conquered every sin imaginable
- Engineered the entire mankind
- Died, stayed dead for 3 days, then got up
Now let's make a quick list of trials you may be facing:
- Overdue bills
- Unemployment
- Stressful job/co-workers
- Challenging spouse
- Disobedient children
- Money flowing out quicker than flowing in
- Lack of support system
- Failed business
- Nosy parents and in-laws
- Haters
If you're honest, you have come to God with at least one of the items on the latter list more often than you'd like to admit.
That's OK...God is good and will remain faithful.
However, it's time to start telling your situation about your God instead of the other way around.
It's time to acknowledge your trial and at the same time acknowledge the size of your God.
With a little bit of faith, there is absolutely nothing God can not and will not do in your life.
Today you have permission to punch your trial in the face in Jesus' name.
Then you will see who really holds the power.
Let's pray...
"Father I know there is nothing to hard for you. From now on I promise to give all of my trials a crash course in your everlasting strength. I will face tribulations boldly, standing on your word, because I know you will never leave me or forsake me. I pray these things in Jesus name, Amen."
