Today marks 32 years on earth for me.
I am truly thankful.
Birthdays used to be days I simply looked forward to for parties. As I got older I “grew out of” wanting parties for my birthday.
However, life has taught me to always celebrate life. Celebrate every year given. Every day actually, because there are so many other people that aren’t living to see theirs.
So I no longer take my days on earth for granted. I see God’s blessing in every rising of the sun.
Speaking of blessings, I received a call from my spiritual father and mentor today and He gave me a word I thought was fitting for today’s devotional.
He told me…”where there is clarity of vision, there is acceleration to the goal”.
He spoke to me about how you may feel stuck in your life at times even though you received a word from God to move forward. It is your duty, however, to get clarity of the vision.
It is this clarity that will catapult you forward towards your goal and ultimately into your destiny.
That word was my birthday gift. It lifted my spirits and filled me with a fire that is not easily put out. It gave me extra motivation to claim my destiny in Christ Jesus.
Lord thank you for another year, and thank you for such a timely word.
Lets pray…
“Father, you are an on time God. Your word, provision, and protection is never late. Grant me the patience to wait on you Lord. Thank you for life, but more importantly a life in Christ. In Jesus name I pray. Amen”
