1 Corinthians 12:9 - That Grace...(Pt. 2)

“Each time he said, “My grace is all you need. My power works best in weakness.” So now I am glad to boast about my weaknesses, so that the power of Christ can work through me.” (1 Corinthians 12:9 NLT)

by Chris

...is all you need.

The true definition of strength is being broken. Allowing yourself to come to the Lord with nothing left in the tank.

The white flag of surrender is a sign of a saint’s ultimate faith in God and reliance on God’s strength alone.

However, your plight may not always be removed. You may have to live with it a while longer. In fact, it may never leave you.

But God’s grace is enough.

You may not be able to endure it alone and that’s a good thing. It simply means you are in need of God’s grace daily to continue living life at the standards God has called you to.

What has God given you grace to endure? What pain are you enduring that only a prescription of grace can bring you through?

If you're not careful, you can complain your way out of seeing the true power of grace have its way in your life.

When facing pressing times, the last thing you want to do is make it through on your own. As if to boast about how you made it.

In contrast, have the mind to be ready and willing to admit that there was nothing you could do. That your powers were rendered insufficient.

But by the grace of God (Hallelujah!!!) you stand here today victorious.

Increase your faith today by allowing the power of grace to see you through you trials. You don’t need anything or anyone else.

Lets pray...

“Lord your grace is enough for me. Help me to have a spirit of peace in all that I endure knowing that I have the strength of Christ available to tap in to at any moment. Let your grace in my life be ever present as a witness for all to see your goodness. In Jesus name, Amen.”
