Matthew 6:11 - Providing Daily (Pt. 2)

“Give us today our daily bread.” (Matthew 6:11 NIV)

by Chris

God is good.

He always provides your needs, and has given you the capacity to obtain what you want.

He’s got all bases covered.

The main focus then becomes you and your relationship with the Father. God is a daily provider, but are you a daily seeker?

Do you seek God as frequent as you expect Him to provide for you? Or do you seek Him casually and expect Him to provide in spite of?

This may be a hard question to answer and face. We often expect God to give to us a lot more than we are willing to give to Him.

For some, days may go by without reading your word or setting aside prayer time. Yet everyday, on queue, His provisions are expected.

Can you imagine how you would react if God just took one day of from providing in your life? That’s a scary thought!

Thank God that His faithfulness to you does not depend on your faithfulness to Him.

Friend, you serve a God who is active in your life daily and deserves the same from you. His goodness deserves to be the topic of discussion out of your mouth daily.

He deserves to occupy space in your heart and mind daily. He is worthy of all the praise your mind can think and lips can speak.

From this day forward, lets be intentional with providing God with praise, prayer, and meditation of His word daily.

Do not let a day go by without mentioning the goodness of God and reflecting on what He is doing on your life today.

We serve the best, and only, God. He definitely deserves our best.

Daily.

Lets pray...

“Father, thank you for being an example of daily provision in my life. Through your example I know how to be a better father, leader, and provider for myself and household. Lord it’s your turn. I promise to be intentional every day with praising your holy name. Daily reflection of your presence in my life so I never lose perspective of your hand on my life. Thank you for being faithful and patient with me. In Jesus name I pray, Amen.”
