| | “When I am afraid, I put my trust in you. In God, whose word I praise—in God I trust and am not afraid. What can mere mortals do to me?”
~ Psalm 56: 3-4 NIV |
| God is good.
I am thankful for the proper spiritual training I have received over the years that guide me to Him in times of duress.
The support and prayers I continue to receive from you all on this devotional is nothing short of amazing and leaves me grateful for us connecting.
This weekend my Pastor made the following statement…
“The safest place to put your faith and security is in God. Satan can’t touch that”
He pointed out how easy it is to put our trust in things that are tangible. Relationships, jobs, money, etc. However, since they are things of the world Satan has full reign to attack them.
If you have the utmost faith and security in your job, losing that same job has the potential to make you lose hope.
But when we trust in God everything we place in Him remains untouchable to the enemy. Things may happen to us and all around us, but none of them will steal our joy that we have found in Christ.
Today is a knew day. Not because of the sun, but because of the Son. His new mercies continue to cover me as I endure. They provide new hope everyday that the victory is near.
The same is true for you.
The proper place to put your trust is in God. Let the world do what it does and accept the inevitable losses you will encounter in your walk of faith.
As long as your faith is properly placed in God…you will be immovable. Claiming victory over all attacks the enemy has set up for you to fail.
Lets pray…
“Today I choose life. I will live and not die in my situation. I receive the victory of Jesus Christ all over my life and will walk in the everlasting favor of the Lord all my days on this earth. In Jesus name I pray, Amen!” |
