The battle is spiritual.
You must be aware of that fact at all times.
No matter how personal your trial or persecution may appear, it has nothing to do with you and everything to do with your spirit.
The only way the devil can get access to your soul is by your permission. His favorite weapon is distraction.
So he will distract you physically bating you to giving him spiritual access.
He uses the beauty of women to distract us through sex before marriage. We lie down for pleasure and rise up with a soul tie.
He’ll use an argument with your brethren in the church to upset you so much that you stop attending church. Allowing your spirit man to weaken and be susceptible to all kinds of worldly attacks and pressure.
It's all spiritual.
The devil isn’t playing. He NEVER fights fair. This is why you must never lose sight of the spiritual battle we are constantly waging against.
The good part is the victory is already ours. Every time a prayer leaves your heart (and lips) to God it calls into existence the victory that our Savior died on the cross to give us.
So stay on guard and remain prayerful in all you do. Rely on the Holy Spirit to reveal to you in the spiritual what the devil meant to be a distraction in the physical.
Let’s pray…
“Father keep me focused when my flesh wants to fight. Remind me there is nothing physical about the war on earth for claiming souls. It is all spiritual. Help me to pray and seek you more when the natural tendency is to respond physically or with my words. I refuse to let the devil claim the very soul of mine you died on the cross for. In Jesus name I pray, Amen.”
