When God closes a door…keep it shut.
Do not go through life repeating chapters that God has already placed a seal of completion on.
It’s funny because the only time the past looks promising is when the present promise is unclear. When doubt over comes your faith there is a natural tendency to go back to what worked and was comfortable.
Don’t do it! Do NOT look back.
It’s important to keep your eyes ahead. Though the present may not look promising right now, the future has more to hold than the past ever will.
Your Ex is your Ex for a reason. You left that job for a reason. There’s a reason you erased that number from your phonebook.
Leave it in the past and keep it there.
God is going to do far more for you in the future than He has done in your past.
You just have to keep pressing and keep the faith.
