What a refreshing scripture.
I’ve often been taught that God is everywhere, but it was mostly pertaining to sins. Preachers use the scripture to get you to come to repentance since all your sins are seen by God.
While that is true, that is not what God showed me in this scripture today.
What God showed me was his ever present love will never go away. It shows me that He is always there no matter the struggle or trial.
No matter the sin you commit, God is there. No matter the level of success you achieve…God is there.
He is ever present in all areas of your life.
You can’t outrun or hide from Him. Why would you want to?
Why would you want to be without the presence of the Lord that brings the fullness of joy in every situation?
One reason is due to the enemy trying to deceive you. Tricking you into thinking your sins have disqualified you from being worthy to call yourself a Christian. Trying to assassinate your faith with self doubt and shame.
But God is still with you. He won’t leave you because he can’t. He cannot go against His own word.
Instead of feeling condemned that God sees all of your sins, find comfort in knowing He is just a decision away.
A decision to turn from your ways, at any point, and turn to God. He will always be ready to take you in.

“Father, many people have walked out of my life; but you are not one of them. No matter how bad I think my sin is, you always remain present in my life. Thank you Lord. Your unconditional love humbles me daily. I feel honored to have a relationship with a Savior that truly cares for me. In the midst of my sin my decision is to turn to you. No matter how bad the fall. In you, I can rise every time. Thank you Jesus. Amen.” |
