You may not know…and that’s okay.
One thing is for sure, as a leader of your family there will be times when you simply do not know what to do.
So many different direction to choose from and it can be overwhelming trying to figure out the best move.
The same can be said for your job, career, business, and relationships.
Pride makes it hard to admit when you need help. Seems like most men would rather die trying than reach out for help and admit they don’t have the answers.
This is vain and non-biblical.
We were designed to need each other. Every man I have ever met that got himself deep into a bad situation, did so in isolation.
This enemy wants you to make decisions and deal with the consequences alone. It ushers in shame and embarrassment that he can later use to draw you away from the presence of God.
Instead, humble yourself and seek wise council. Look to be in the presence of men smarter, and wiser, than you.
Be open to receive that your idea or plan may not be the best approach. Be willing to adjust according to feedback you receive.
The worst thing a man can do is continue down a path of destruction for the sake of not wanting to admit he did not know what he was doing.
You don’t have to know all the answers, you already know someone who does. Use the earthly resources He has provided to keep your paths straight.
Let’s pray…
“Father it is not weakness but courage to seek wise council. I rebuke the spirit of pride, embarrassment, and shame in my life right now. Let there be nothing that prevents me from seeking the wise council of others who have experience in my situation. Lord help me to remain teachable. Knowing that a teachable spirit is required to live out your scriptures accurately. In Jesus name I pray, Amen.”
