Subject: Just love

Daily encouragement for men of faith
“Be completely humble and gentle; be patient, bearing with one another in love.”

~ Ephesians 4:2 NIV
There’s a lot going on in the body these days.

Attacks on the true definition of marriage from the homosexual community, church hurt seems to be at an all time high, and separation by denomination is increasing.

Let alone the amount of failed marriages.

I’ve met countless individuals that have simply given up on God due to them not feeling welcomed in church. They didn't feel as if the church was really in tune with their circumstance.

This is ridiculous.

The only thing that matters in it all is LOVE.

Love covers all sins, love heals the brokenhearted, and love breaks down the barriers of separation and unites the body.

It is love that brought our savior to the cross, and it will take love to bring the cross to the lost.

As ambassadors of Christ it is our job to bear with one another, in love. Not arguing which religion is right or wrong, condemning the works of each other, or ostracizing the sinner for their actions and beliefs.

Because while we’re arguing in the body, we are losing souls to the adversary daily.

People are lost and searching for answers. They are looking for purpose. All of which can only be found in Christ.

So lets agree to put the small, meaningless issues to the side and focus on what really matters - winning souls through love. Be intentional to show the love of Christ towards everybody you encounter.

Whether it’s a smile, encouragement, a positive attitude in a negative situation, or any other way God convicts you...just show love.

Only the love of Christ can break the addictions, strongholds, generational curses, and sinful nature of man.

So ask yourself…how can I show the love of Christ with my life today?

Then do it.

Lets pray…

“Father, show me how to love better. Unite the body of Christ Lord. I pray for ultimate humility and healing for the entire body of Christ. Let the love you spirit produces be evident in how I live my life. Ensuring that my life will always be a bridge of love for the lost to get to the cross. In Jesus name I pray, Amen.”
