Acts 12:5 - Interception
“So Peter was kept in prison, but the church was earnestly praying to God for him.” (Acts 12:5)
by Chris
No matter the situation on thing remains constant...
Prayer is powerful AND it works.
Peter was jailed immediately after James had been put to death. King Herod had every intention on doing the same to Peter.
But God blocked it.
The power of a praying church intercepted what the King had in mind for Peter. These earnest prayers changed Peter’s outcome and put on display what God will do through willing vessels.
This holds true for you as well.
Would your attitude in your trial change if you knew you had a group of men praying on your behalf?
That’s the purpose of this devotional.
To come together and pray for one another, earnestly, in whatever life situation you may be going through.
It is only by prayer and faith that we are guaranteed victory in all circumstances.
Peter ended up free from prison while Herod saw death by an angel of the Lord.
Prayer will do the same for you. You will see your enemies fall as God delivers you from you trial.
But you’ve got to pray. We’ve got to pray. The question is...what would you like prayer for?
Today hit reply to this devotional and let your prayer request made known. Lets unleash the power of prayer in your life through a group of men that will go before the Lord, daily, on your behalf.
I’ll start...pray for my continual faith in God’s provision for my family through the prosperity of my business.
What’s yours?
“Father thank you for the power of prayer. I believe that it will turn around every situation for my good as well as void the wrath of my enemies. I trust that you are working in my favor even when it doesn’t feel like it or it doesn’t look like it. I believe God. In Jesus name I pray...Amen”
