Today I almost gave in and gave up.
Lately the enemy has been attacking me from every angle it seems and I just didn't have the fight in me today.
I mean he started bright and early and would not let up.
I tried to type this devotional this morning and couldn't find the words. The day progressed and things got better but overall it was a struggle.
Then something happened...
I started to envision each and every one of your faces. Envisioning your prayers going up on my behalf. The scriptures and words from my previous devotionals started coming to mind.
Little by little my spirit man began rising. The weight, still heavy, seemed bearable. Understanding that no weapon will prosper. Knowing God's word is true.
And knowing there are a group of men praying for and with me.
Today I thank each and every one of you that read these devotionals. I rarely know the impact these have on your lives, but know that you have a great impact on mine.
I pray and think about you all daily. Imagining some of your faces while knowing others.
I can truly say that your love, prayers, and support got me through today. Tomorrow I will be back stronger in the name of Jesus.
“Father, thank you for a group of praying men. Amen.”
