"He replied, “Because you have so little faith. Truly I tell you, if you have faith as small as a mustard seed, you can say to this mountain, ‘Move from here to there,’ and it will move. Nothing will be impossible for you. (Matthew 17:20 NIV)
As we approach Thanksgiving, one thing I find myself the most thankful for is faith.
I have always wondered what faith looks like in today's times. We've seen great faith in the Old Testament by Enoch, Noah, Abraham, and Rahab just to name a few. These were people who God was able to do amazing things through due to their faith.
The question is...how much faith does it require for God to do the same in your life, and what does living it out look like?
I've found that it isn't the big steps of faith that are hard, it's the small steps. The steps we often overlook or disregard as irrelevant.
Somehow if you could just gather enough faith to believe God in the small areas of your life, it will be magnified in the larger areas.
Have you thought about what that looks like? What does taking this small step of faith equate to in your life today?
Living a life full of faith is the greatest gift we can give back to God. It is the best way to show Him how thankful we are of his salvation.
Take some time today and think about what God it calling you to do by faith. Lets talk about it...
"Lord, thank you for faith and your faithfulness. Receive my life of faith as my way of saying Thank You for who you are, all you've done, and my destiny in You. In Jesus name I pray, Amen"
