Subject: Hello? (Pt. 2)

Daily encouragement for men of faith
“Who are you, Lord?” Saul asked. “I am Jesus, whom you are persecuting,” he replied. “Now get up and go into the city, and you will be told what you must do.”

~ Acts 9:5-6 NIV
One thing I realized hinders believers from answering the call of God is control.

The world tends to teach us that we have control over our situation or outcome. This becomes a delicate balance in Christ.

Even though Christ has given you the power of choice in this life, He remains in control. It is God that holds all things together.

Not you.

When you respond to God’s calling on your life you submit to Him being in the driver’s seat. You are no longer calling the shots, you’re simply executing them.

God is the one that will navigate you to your destiny safely and on time.

But you have to be willing to let go. You have to trust God enough to release your plans and your ways in exchange for His. You must be willing to stop what you’re doing immediately, in order to follow God.

This is what Paul did.

Are you willing to drop your plans in life for God’s plan for your life?

If not, pray that your heart my get to a place that you desire God’s will for your life more than the perception of control that you currently have.

You can live a life greater than you ever imagined. The second let go, and let God guide you.

Lets pray…

“Father help me to release all that I know for all you have in store for me! In Jesus name I pray. Amen”
