by Paul C. Robinson
Have you ever wondered why a person can accumulate
everything the world has to offer and still feel empty and directionless on the
inside?
Consider this. Every person is naturally inclined to search
for fulfillment, satisfaction, joy, peace, and the like. However, if not
achieved, dissatisfaction with life begins to rise to the surface.
That is
because we are innately designed to search for something beyond this world. What
I like to refer to as the “God void”.
This void exists because of our severed relationship with
God, due to the fall man. However, God’s desire is still for us to be in
relationship with him just as He originally intended.
Therefore, He strategically created life in which true and
lasting fulfillment is found in the discovery of our purpose.
The purpose of
something is the reason for which it is made, and its very design is determined
by its purpose. – Myles Monroe
This is a statement that has the power to transform a life
simply because once understood, it has the ability to usher a person into a
life of fulfillment and significance according to God’s will.
Regardless of what you’ve gone through, you are not a
mistake. Regardless of how many people leave your side, your value does not
diminish in God’s sight. Know that God has an overall plan and that you were
created to help him accomplish his perfect will.
Lets pray...
"Father, you are all I need. My life's purpose lies in you. Help me to continue to search for fulfillment in you and your word only. Thank you Lord for choosing me to be a part of fulfilling your perfect will on earth. In Jesus name I pray, Amen."
