Subject: Full ownership

Daily encouragement for men of faith
" For all the animals of the forest are mine,
and I own the cattle on a thousand hills.
I know every bird on the mountains,
and all the animals of the field are mine.
If I were hungry, I would not tell you,
for all the world is mine and everything in it."

- Psalms 50:10-12
What can you say is really yours?

The world teaches ownership and entitlement. Whatever you hold you own, and whatever you have you deserve more.

Simply is not true in Christ.

You own nothing, but are called to be a good steward over all God has given you.

He is the one that owns it all.

Your wife, children, job, money, and every material belonging of yours belongs to God.

He has been gracious enough to allow you to watch over it with the gift of life he has given you.

This can be a hard reality to swallow at times. But remember, God will always be the best caretaker of what He owns. You want him to remain in control.

Today, rest assured knowing that all you have been given is in good hands.
Your job is to focus on being the greatest steward you can.

So when God calls back to him what is righfully his; you can return it to him better than when he gave it to you.

Let's pray...

"Lord help me keep the proper perspective on what is mine. I am nothing without you and deserve nothing. Yet because of your love, Grace, and mercy, you have given me many great things to steward over. I answer the call the stewardship. To watch over and improve every good thing you have entrusted me with. I know it's yours, and want you to receive it back far greater than I received it from you. In Jesus name I pray, Amen."
