Job 2:9-10 - Faith Over Everything “9 His wife said to him, “Are you still maintaining your integrity? Curse God and die!” 10 He replied, “You are talking like a foolish woman. Shall we accept good from God, and not trouble?” In all this, Job did not sin in what he said.” (Job 2:9-10 NIV)

For the last couple days the question has been…what did He say?
But the act of your faith is two-fold. One part is responding to what He says. The other is responding to what He allows.
When all you have has been taken from you…what will YOU say? How will you respond?
Job is the classic example of losing it all, keeping trust in God, and being restored.
But it wasn’t easy.
What do you do when the people closest to you tell you to forget God? How about when your most trusted friends give you the most faithless advice?
When you truly have nothing left but your faith in God…what will you say?
I love Job’s reply. He was willing to accept both the good and the bad as part of God’s design for His life. He maintained his perspective on who God really was, and what He was capable of doing.
Job did not disrespect his wife. He challenged her faith. Then he set the example by acting in faith.
He had his moments where he allowed his flesh to get the best of him. But overall, he responded to losing it all with a faith that is unimaginable.
My challenge to you today is to activate your inner Job.
No matter what the people around you say - choose faith. Don’t let reality distract you, or your circumstance define you.
Make the decision that your faith is more important than it all.
The path to your destiny is paved by faith. Walk in it, to get to it.
Lets pray…
“Father, increase my faith. Let your word be always present among my ears to increase my faith in you. I choose to believe you in spite of the advice of the world and my closest advisors. Let every response be filled with faith. In Jesus name I pray, Amen”
