Philippians 4:19 - Every Need “But my God shall supply all your need according to his riches in glory by Christ Jesus.” (Philippians 4:19 KJV)
by Chris
I often have to remind myself of this.
Sometime I feel I need so much that I begin to doubt if God is willing to supply it all. I know He can, just not sure if He will.
But that’s when I realize...there is no lack in God’s riches in glory, so you should anticipate that there would be no lack in God’s supply.
The scripture does not state he will supply all of your needs according to your worry, frustration, doubt, or impatience. Yet that’s how we act sometimes.
Our God is not moved by emotions. He is not even moved by our needs. He is moved by faith. Faith is what will move the hand of God on your behalf.
You see if He is never lacking in provisions, and you are living in lack; you may need to check your faith. But don’t stop there, you may need to check your perspective.
God will supply ALL of your needs. This includes outside of monetary and physical gains. He is also capable of supplying:
- New ideas
- New strategies for old ideas
- Church home
- Healthy relationships
- The Holy Spirit
- Free time
He can and will supply it all. The focus remains on if you will receive by faith how God is choosing to provide. In addition, when it is provided for you what will you do with it?
Are you truly ready for the provision you are waiting for God to supply?
Friend, our God is mighty and full of glory. There is no issue to big or request too small. Cast your cares upon Him with confidence.
Knowing, by faith, there is no need in Christ Jesus that will go unmet on your behalf.
Lets pray...
“Lord, I receive your provision for my life. You lack nothing, therefore I receive the same abundance. Renew my mind and strengthen my faith to identify the unique ways you decide to provide in my life. In Jesus name I pray...Amen” |
