Psalms 37:25-26 - No Lack "I was young and now I am old, yet I have never seen the righteous forsake nor their children begging bread. They are always generous and lend freely; their children will be a blessing." (Psalm 37:25-26 NIV)
by Chris
There are a lot of pressures on us as men. Especially those of is who have families to provide for.
I'll never forget a time when there was literally no money in our bank account, mortgage was due and very little food in the refrigerator.
I remember the feeling of pressure on the back of my neck until it moved to my head giving me an almost unbearable headache.
Have you ever done all you could do only to find out it still wasn't enough? You've done everything in your strength to make things work but still needed more.
Thank God we are righteous men!
We don't have to rely on our own strength. Our provisions will never be enough on our own.
This is a good thing. Brothers, today I am a witness to the goodness of God and His unyielding hand of provision. No matter how bad the situation seemed, he has always made a way and provided more than enough for me and my family.
Even though we thought we were in lack, we were in the wil of God. A will that promises to never forsake us.
Let me encourage you today to know that God has your back. Where your human ability stops, God's unlimited power takes over.
As long as you walk upright with God you will never see lack.
You can take that to the bank.
Lets pray...
"Father, thank you for never giving up on us. At times the worries of the world tend to inject doubt and fear into our lives. But you God are always faithful. You always make a way if we just believe and wait on you. You are our true strength. Thank you for providing for us better than we could ever do for ourselves. We love you Lord. Amen."
