Isaiah 40:31 - Lets Soar! “But those who wait for the Lord [who expect, look for, and hope in Him] shall change and renew their strength and power; they shall lift their wings and mount up [close to God] as eagles [mount up to the sun]; they shall run and not be weary, they shall walk and not faint or become tired.” (Isaiah 40:31 AMP)

If you’ve ever flown on a plane you have experienced turbulence.
It often takes place as the plane is elevating into new altitudes. No matter how high the plane rises it is always susceptible to turbulence.
Regarding turbulence one pilot had this to say, “Sometimes , from point A to point B, turbulence is everywhere. We know we’re going to get through it...”
Turbulent times are guaranteed during your fast as you elevate to new altitudes in God. You will run and not grow weary, if you yet wait upon the strength of the Lord.
I hit some turbulence early at about 2am this morning. Withdrawing from my business is truly going to be a great test.
However, I received timely strength this morning from a reply from Ryan Dutton that read “YES!!!” in response to committing to the fast.
Instantly my spirit was renewed as I remembered I’m not going through alone, but with a group of brothers who have committed to seek God along with me.
Thank you Jesus!
This is important to remember. There will be times with great turbulence and the flesh will become weak. It is those times that you rely on the strength of the Lord.
Also, utilize the people close to you that will encourage you in the Lord to keep moving forward. Email me if you have to. Whatever it takes to keep your commitment to God.
Getting The Most Out Of Your Fast
Make sure to do the following for the maximum results:
- Journal - record what God reveals to you throughout the day (carry paper everywhere)
- Pray - replace times when you feel tempted with prayer
- Meditate - repeat today’s scripture or a scripture of choice throughout your day
- Listen - the weaker your flesh the more prevalent the voice of God will be. Listen to it.
Brothers, lets honor God with our lives through sacrifice this week.
He is our strength. In him we can do all things.
As our flesh dies daily let our spirit man rise and soar through the turbulence and elevate us closer to God.
As always, there’s still time to start the fast. Make the commitment if you haven’t already.
The guide to help you get started on your fast is below.
Lets pray...
“Father, thank you for renewed strength. We are grateful for the collective sacrifice of every man made this week to get closer to you God. Honor our sacrifice with a bigger presence in our lives. Let our ears be sensitive to your every command. Reveal to us the mysteries of our lives you have hidden from us. Lord make old things new in our lives. We pray these things in your precious name...Amen”
