Romans 8:38-39 - Can't Separate It
"For I am convinced that neither death nor life, neither angels nor demons, neither the present nor the future, nor any powers, neither height nor depth, nor anything else in all creation, will be able to separate us from the love of God that is in Christ Jesus our Lord." (Romans 8:38-39 NIV)
God truly loves us.
There is nothing in the heavens or earth that can come between that love.
The enemy wants to separate us from such love. He knows sin occurs when we are separated from Christ.
He tries to draw is away with feelings of shame, guilt, and unworthiness. With an end goal of ultimately destroying us outside of the presence of God.
Think about the last time you sinned...what were your feelings afterwards? Whatever you felt hopefully it was grace, mercy, compassion, and love at some point.
Brothers, the truth is God never stops loving us. He never writes us off.
God is prepared and able to deal with the biggest sin you can commit and forgive you of it. In fact, He planned to do so by sending His son.
So whatever sin you may be struggling with today, just know that God's love is bigger. It's better.
And it never fails.
You can't sin good enough to come between the love God has for you.
Now that's love!
Let's pray...
"Father, thank you for real love. A love that cannot be bound or limited by sin. You're love is perfect and it never fails. Father even when we don't receive it you still give it freely. Thank you for never giving up on us. And thank you for a love that covers all sins. Today we receive your love regardless of our past or current situation. In Jesus name we pray...
Amen"
