| | “Your word is a lamp for my feet, a light on my path.”
~ Psalm 119:105 NIV |
| What a blessing when God says “no”.
At least that’s what I thought God was saying to me early in my walk when things didn’t go my way.
I have grown in my faith to learn that there is no such thing as “no” for believers. Just “not yet” and “not that one”.
In the recent years I have experienced many closed doors. opportunities I felt strongly about only to result in nothing.
What I finally learned was how to see the blessing behind every closed door.
What the world threw at me as rejection, I learned to receive it as God’s navigation. Keeping me away from the wrong paths in life by creating detours by way of closed doors.
Every closed door led me down a different path until I ended up at the door only God could open. The door only the grace of God could navigate me to.
The second I stepped through that door, the entire journey made sense.
I saw that God didn’t waste one moment, one experience, or one relationship. He masterfully navigated me through life's many trials, choices, and pains to exactly where he wanted me to be.
It was all for my good.
Same is true for you if you just trust God and allow him to order your steps.
Even when you are willing to sabotage your destiny by choosing the path you want, God will not let it be.
He loves you too much to leave the door of destruction open for you to enter.
Today, choose to take God’s detours all the way to your destiny.
Let’s pray…
“Father, no longer will I remain discouraged on my path to my destiny. Every door closed, every person who doubted, and every time I wasn’t given a fair chance was simply a detour. A detour to prevent me from sacrificing all that you have in store for me in exchange for what I thought was best for me at the moment. Thank you Father for always looking out for me and never giving up on me. I love you so much. Amen.” |
