Some things can only be achieved through prayer and fasting.
This was the case in the scripture, but I’ve also found it to be true in many other areas of the Christian walk.
Life is so unpredictable. So dynamic that at some point you will be caught off guard.
It is this kind of “random” happenings in life that make people nervous. People exhaust all their time trying to figure things out on their own, or trying to see far enough into the future to help make the “perfect decision” in the present.
However, you will never know what life has in store. You will never know what the future has to hold.
But you know who holds the future.
Jesus is the only one who knows it all. So when you are faced with a major, life changing decision or facing an insurmountable obstacle; knowing God is the best security you will ever have.
I’d like to remind you today that clarity in life is available in Christ. If you feel stuck in your current situation or have been given the opportunity of a lifetime and are having a hard time deciding how to approach it...seek God.
Not just through prayer, but fasting also.
Sometimes the decisions we need to make in life carry more weight than we could ever imagine. Those are times you do not want to go at it alone.
With God, you don’t have to go at it alone.
Unleash the power of prayer and fasting over your situation and watch God show up and show out.

“Father, you are the author of my future. There are so many crossroads I encounter in life and I’m tired of trying to figure it out on my own. Especially when I serve a God who is willing to give unreservedly to all who seek Him. Lord help me to discipline myself to rely on strengthening the spirit man in times like this. I don’t need more information to make the right decision, I need more revelation. Which I know will be given to me freely through prayer and fasting. Thank you Jesus! Amen.”
