| No matter how much you love God…he loves you more.
There is absolutely no comparison to the love Christ put on display for us all.
As a married man I find it very challenging at times to express love to my wife when we argue or strongly disagree. Especially when she does stuff that really gets under my skin.
Honestly, there are times where we just flat out can’t stand each other. However, it is in those times that I see my love for her being tested.
No matter how my bride acts God has commanded me to love her. Not because she is mine, but because she is His.
He treats you the same way. No matter how many times you fall to sin, doubt his word, or get angry with God…he still loves you.
It is not difficult for God to love you inspite of your shortcomings. He enjoys to keep loving on you inspite of. Even though he knows you will continue to fall to sin. He just keeps loving.
It is a love that I cannot comprehend but am truly grateful to receive.
A love that should make you want to just love Him more and more each day. And no matter how great your love for Christ is, his love for you is greater.
No sin is to big, no act is too nasty, and no thought is too terrible to stop God’s love for you.
It feels so good to be loved.
