| Luke 19:31 - Believe It Or Not

There’s is only one way we obtain faith.
It is by hearing the word of God.
In this passage, a rich man died and ended up in a place of torment. He begged Abraham to let him come back and warn his loved ones.
Abraham denied his request.
Even at the end of his life the rich man didn’t realize that seeing did not make believers out of men. Him coming back from the dead to warn them would have been an attempt in futility.
Abraham understood that. He knew seeing a dead man could not persuade anybody to become a believer.
The world is still the same to this day. We live in a “I’ll believe it when I see it” society. This way of life, of course, leaves no room for faith.
It does not allow faith to create hope for a better future or victory over your trials. Everything you desire in life is available to you by faith, and faith only.
You will never see it until you believe it.
Wanna save your loved ones from the depths of hell? Help them get into an environment where they can hear the word of God.
Whether it’s church, bible study, life group, or a form of mass media; help them to hear the word of God.
It is only through this hearing of the word that their faith will be established.
And through that faith, they will escape the depths of hell and spend eternity with Christ.

“Father, thank you for your word. It establishes faith in us that we need to live. No longer do I lend my belief to what I can see. You are the almighty and unseen God. You are the truest being in my life. Going forward, I choose to believe the word of God and let my faith manifest my future. I receive these things in Jesus name, Amen”
