~ Matthew 7:7 NLT |
| I want to encourage you in Christ today.
Lately, God has personally been extending an extraordinary amount of grace and blessings all over my life.
I had to stop and really take inventory of all that He has been doing in the last few years.
Upon further investigation, I came to the realization that God has honored every single request I have sent to Him.
Every prayer I prayed He answered favorably on my behalf. And each answer was greater than what I initially asked for.
I believe this is the kind of power you have at our disposal as a Christian. That God will supercede the natural and move supernaturally move on your behalf.
The key is making sure your heart is right. That doing the will of God is truly your primary desire.
The condition of your heart will control what you ask of God. Your heart ensures that your wants and needs are aligned perfectly with what He already has in store for you.
Through prayer with a clean heart you petition God to release in the spiritual what He was waiting to bless you with what he already had in store for you.
God wants you to become so confident in him that your initial reaction is prayer and not worry or doubt. He wants you to walk boldly in what he has created you to be, and relentlessly pursue what he has created you to do.
You’re never waiting on God to bless you. He’s already ready and willing to release more than you could imagine.
If you would yet ask and believe.
Let’s pray…
“Father I know I may complain a lot in my spirit at times. But through it all I can honestly say you have never let me down. You have always come through when I really needed. As your child I feel loved, valued, and favored to know you as my father. Cleanse my heart Lord. Renew in me a right spirit that I will never ask anything that is not in your will for me. Grow my spirit of expectation in you that no matter what the situation appears as, I will always expect a blessing. In Jesus name I pray, Amen.” |
